I just finished a custom order for a queen/king size quilt.  customer supplied the fabric, layer cakes in the Origins collection by Basic Grey for Moda...love the colors.  A simple Quilt, sew the squares together 10 in a row, for 10 rows and bordered by a 6" border.  Machine quilted using 100% washable wool batting, a quilting pattern called " Featheration"  and a polyester thread in off white adding depth and sheen.

Monika, you can make a simple quilt into a work of art! I just want to curl up in it with a good book -- preferably a quilting magazine! LOL!

Love your fall photos too!

Is "featheration" one of your own quilting designs, or is it one that is publicly available? I'm looking to broaden my understanding of quilting designs.

Featheration is a pantograph by Meredith England and measures 13.75". It is available through various vendors including Golden Threads.
